Play together from different locations
Your friends can join your online party from another room or another location. Everyone uses their own phone and internet connection. For a two-player session with your partner, see the couples guide.
Install the game on each phone
Download Tied Together! from Google Play. Every player needs their own phone, an internet connection and a compatible game version. Open the game and complete sign-in before joining a party.
You play online on separate devices. The iOS version is not publicly available yet.
Find a partner with Quick Match
Quick Match is for two players. Use it when you want the game to find one partner for you. For three or four players, create a party and invite friends instead.
Create a party for 2–4 players
- Open a party in the game.
- Choose an empty player place, then select CODE OR LINK.
- Share the six-character code or invite link with your friends.
- Keep the party open while your friends join.
You can also invite a friend from the in-game friend list. Choosing Play alone opens invitations so you can bring other players into your party.
Each invited player needs their own copy of the game. Three- and four-player groups join through a party code, invite link or friend invite.
Join through a code or invite link
Open the link your friend shared, or visit Join a party and enter all six letters or numbers. Select Open Tied Together! to open the game with that code. You can also enter the code directly in the game.
Install the game first if it is not on your phone. The host must still have the party open with a free place. An invite link cannot keep a closed party available.
Use your own joystick and Jump
Each device controls exactly one character. Move with the on-screen joystick and use Jump to cross gaps and obstacles. Rio and Luna are the two characters; additional looks are skins.
Watch your teammates and coordinate jumps around the rope. Moving platforms, balance bridges and timed gates require different timing. Keep the team together as you cross the route.
Falls return the team to its checkpoint
If a player falls or the team hits a hazard, the team respawns at its checkpoint. There are no lives or game-over screens. Falls and respawns are counted in the level results.
Reach the next checkpoint together before tackling the next stretch. Each world ends with a harder final level, and you can select any playable level from the menus.
If your party code does not work
- Check that the code has exactly six letters or numbers.
- Ask the host to keep the party open and confirm that a player place is free.
- Make sure each phone is online and uses a compatible game version.
- Ask for a new invitation if the host has closed or replaced the party.
