Install and invite your team
Each player needs a supported Android phone, internet, completed sign-in and a compatible game version. The Android download is free, with ads and optional purchases. iOS is coming soon; public Android–iPhone parties are not available yet.
- Install Knotted! on every phone, sign in and choose a player name.
- The host opens ADD PLAYER and creates a party for two, three or four players.
- Share the six-character party code or invite link with your teammates. Keep the host’s party open while they join.
- Once the team has joined, the host selects a playable level and presses PLAY.
Learn the controls before a crossing
Each player controls one character with the on-screen joystick and Jump. On safe ground, practise moving a short distance and stopping. Watch where your teammate is before trying the same movement near an edge. The game interface is English, even when this guide is translated.
Make the first jump a team decision
Stop on a safe platform and choose who moves first. Leave landing space for the other player, then cross together. The blue rope connects your characters; moving ahead without checking your teammate can make the crossing harder.
Use the checkpoint to learn
In regular levels, a fall or hazard returns the team to its checkpoint. There are no limited lives or game-over screens; results count falls. On the next attempt, change one thing: your starting distance, the order of jumps or when you move.
If your friend cannot join
Check the six-character code, completed sign-in and compatible game versions. Keep the host’s party open. A link does not install the game or keep a closed party alive; create a new invitation if the old party has ended. Quick Match finds one other player; use a party invitation to choose your friends.
